Pacific Sky Aviation chooses Fox Training Management System
For over 25 years, Pacific Sky has been a Transport Canada approved provider of flight training. It will now benefit from a comprehensive training management package purchased from Fox.
Maruo Pezzetta has purchased the Fox algorithm-based training management system for Pacific Sky Aviation.

British Columbia-based Pacific Sky Aviation has purchased the Fox Training Management System by Britannica Knowledge Systems as its new cloud-based training management platform. Pacific Sky is a Transport Canada and EASA-approved provider of new pilot initial licensing and ratings as well as Multi-Engine, IFR and Twin Otter pilot training.

The Fox software will be used to oversee pilot training for the Twin Otter and CL Water Bomber programmes at the Pacific Sky flight training centre in Calgary near Edmonton International airport in Alberta.

“Pacific Sky is excited to introduce the Fox Training Management System into our operations,” says general manager for training and simulation Mauro Pezzetta. “We were looking for one system to cover all our needs. The Fox Training Management System covers all of our operational requirements ranging from resource scheduling, scheduling management, pilot training records, qualification management and learning management systems. We look forward to working with the service excellence and professionalism that Britannica provides.”

Fox offers solutions for large training operations including American Airlines, ANA, Boeing, LATAM and United Airlines. Pacific Pacific Sky will have access to the same comprehensive tools as these larger organisations, while taking advantage of Britannica's ability to cater to smaller companies through scalable pricing, easy onboarding tools, and preconfigured, structured business process solutions.

With Fox, Pacific Sky will be able to manage planning and scheduling, instructional devices and other training resources, instructors, qualifications, recordkeeping, training development, learning and testing, performance evaluation and analytics. Pacific Sky instructors and evaluators will also be able to use the Fox Grading app to ensure training quality and maintain standards by capturing performance data, in real-time on mobile devices, both online and offline.
