Red Aviation and DFW Instrument merge to form DFW Aviation
Two established Dallas repair stations have combined forces at Addison airport, conveniently mid-way between DFW and Love Field.

Red Aviation and DFW Instrument, LLC, have combined to form DFW Aviation. The companies' two FAA repair stations, distribution and repair services and manufacturing are now co-located on Addison airport, which is strategically positioned between DFW and Dallas Love Field airports.

DFW Aviation says it offers business and general aviation customers a new approach to operating and maintaining their aircraft by combining its strong roots in business and general aviation, where personal service, flexibility and versatility are paramount, with best practices gained in commercial aviation where supply chain solutions and risk-sharing partnerships are common.

“The result is a company that can now leverage proven maintenance and repair techniques, supply chain strategies, transaction/deal structures, creativity and innovation, and service offerings that simply haven't been tried in the BA/GA market, to provide customers with a broader, smoother, more satisfying experience,” comments Josh Abelson, chief executive officer.

“The attributes that built our reputation, namely timely response, reliable quality, solving customer problems, are still the essence of the company. But now, DFW Aviation offers an unmatched array of services including distribution, instrument and structures repair, maintenance, avionics and test equipment manufacturing and calibration.

“We will do whatever it takes to keep your aircraft flying, from a single plane to a corporate fleet."
