Hong Kong-based Metrojet has appointed Janet Chen as regional sales manager for its MRO facility. Chen will act as an ambassador for mainland China customers and will help to develop the team's support and services.

Chen has more than 14 years of experience working in the aviation industry. She started her career in sales, marketing and customer service but has also worked in supply chain and business development, with her most recent role being commercial manager at HAECO Private Jet Solutions. Initially based in mainland China and focusing on the market there, Chen will also support regional sales efforts both in Hong Kong and the wider Asia area.

Established in 1995 and one of the first business aviation companies in Hong Kong, Metrojet is part of the Kadoorie Group and a sister company of The Peninsula Hotels. Besides aircraft maintenance, which it offers from its facilities in Hong Kong and the Philippines, the company also specialises in aircraft management, charter and consulting services.
