West Star Aviation names programme manager
West Star's landing gear/accessory programme in Colorado is in the safe hands of newly-promoted Jeff Yeager, who has played an important part in the development of the capability.

US maintenance chain West Star Aviation has promoted Jeff Yeager to programme manager, landing gear/accessory programme at its Grand Junction Regional airport facility in Colorado. Yeager was hired in 2011 and has been instrumental in helping to develop the landing gear programme, which includes service for Challenger, Hawker/Textron and Phenom, while also expanding its Learjet and King Air capabilities.

In addition to being a certified trainer on Phenom 100/300, Yeager has participated in the planning, development and execution of the readiness plan for the Phenom landing gear contract. He will report to Grand Junction general manager Dave Krogman, who says: “Jeff has been instrumental in the development of our landing gear overhaul capabilities to date. He continues to be integral to increasing our capabilities and technical knowledge for landing gear and accessory overhaul, making him the natural choice to lead that programme.”
