Heli Union to train 30 Spanish Guard pilots
Read this story in our July 2018 printed issue.

Heli Union Training Centre (HUTC) has been awarded a contract by the Spanish Civil Guard to train 30 pilots in France over a two-year period. Candidates will train on a Dauphin AS365N3 full flight simulator located at Angouleme and will be coached in emergency procedure exercises, IFR navigation and harsh condition flights.

Director Herve Maugis says: "We are very honoured to be given this opportunity. We are aiming to provide the best service through our qualified instructors and top-of-the-range training courses to ensure all our pupils are successfully qualified and well-trained. We also support our customers by enabling them to create operational scenarios and to reschedule their training slots should they need."

Certified by France's DGAC and EASA, HUTC is home to the only Dauphin AS365N3 FFS in Europe.
