Bruno Even has been appointed CEO of Airbus Helicopters, effective 1 April, 2018. He will report to Airbus CEO Tom Enders and join the company's executive committee.

Even has been CEO of Safran Helicopter Engines since 2015, having joined the group in 1999. He succeeds Guillaume Faury, who has assumed the role of president of Airbus Commercial Aircraft.

“I am very pleased that we could attract an experienced executive like Bruno Even to join Airbus,” says Enders. “Bruno climbed the management ranks at Safran at a very young age. His broad background of the helicopter business and his strong customer focus combined with programme and engineering expertise, make him the ideal candidate to succeed Guillaume, and to continue our successful improvement in a very demanding business environment.”

Airbus is also reporting that it has overachieved on its 2017 key performance indicators. “Overall, the strength of our 2017 achievements is reflected in our dividend proposal, which is up 11 per cent against last year,” continues Enders.
