UAS International Trip Support, headquartered in Dubai, is assisting with the management of a Gulfstream G450 in partnership with Chinese company Deer Jet. UAS has been a subsidiary of Deer Jet since December 2016. “Having the G450 is a significant boost for us as it is an aircraft in extremely high demand among our clients, particularly those in the Middle East and Europe, and now that it is based in Dubai, we can really cater to this demand,” says founder Mohammed Husary. “It is performing well and the feedback we've received is good. Clients say that not only is it extremely comfortable, but the interior is superb. All in all, they are delighted with both its elegance and capabilities.”

The 14-seat aircraft has upgraded engines, modern avionics and aerodynamic enhancements. “It is another powerful string to our bow,” adds Husary. “The G450 allows us to serve a different profile of clients that may be seeking narrow body aircraft. We're also planning to add another Gulfstream by the end of the year which will allow us to offer our clients even more choice.”

Last October, UAS launched an all-in-one trip planning and weather solution, UAS FlightEvolution. It was created exclusively for pilots and dispatchers to improve the process of flight planning, weather checking, aircraft performance calculations and in-flight situational awareness. Since then, two more products have been launched; communications tool UAS LinkEvolution and trip management system UAS TMSevolution.

“We are truly global, so from an operational viewpoint, there are always going to be ongoing challenges to ensure compliance with all CAA and regulatory bodies for every category of flight operator and flight purpose,” Husary explains. “Because rules on entry requirements and permit applications change regularly in many jurisdictions, it's always our priority to ensure we are aware of the latest requirements in every country and to remain ahead of the game in this respect. This is a challenge we overcome by ensuring we maintain a pool of regional experts. We've also built strong and respectful relationships with authorities all over the world.”
