Biggin Hill-based Castle Air Group, comprising rotary operator Castle Air and fixed wing division Sovereign Business Jets, is eagerly anticipating Air Charter Expo (ACE17), which takes place at London Biggin Hill airport on 12 September. The group is offering a helicopter shuttle as part of a prize draw, to showcase the London Heli Shuttle service it operates in conjunction with the airport.

Both companies will be exhibiting at the show this year. Sovereign has expanded its fleet in the past year by taking on a Challenger 300 and a Phenom 100, with a further Phenom expected imminently.

Castle Air Group's marketing manager Jo Arthur says: “ACE provides a great opportunity for us to meet and talk with the brokers directly. They can see our aircraft, meet our team and see how passionate we are about our quality of service.

“Last year we gained a lot of new business as a direct result of the show and we hope this happens again. For us it was great to catch up with so many brokers and operators all under one roof. We said after ACE last year that this would be our number one event for this year as it generated real interest and future business for us.

“Brokers are our main clients so this is a perfect forum. We are hoping the BACA connection this year makes it an even better experience. You get to meet people from all aspects of the aircraft charter industry, to share ideas and see what is changing.”
