UK operator SaxonAir has doubled its helicopter charter fleet with the addition of two A109SP GrandNew aircraft. Both are managed and will be based in the London area to serve increasing client demand.

SaxonAir now has four helicopters, three of which are A109SP GrandNews, to complement its existing fixed wing fleet. “It is not often that charter companies are able to offer a modern fleet like ours,” says helicopter operations and charter manager Max Randall. “Our clients enjoy flying in newer generation aircraft and the GrandNew is one of the most popular helicopters to charter, so it works perfectly for us.

“The luxurious cabin of the A109SP can comfortably accommodate six or seven passengers. Finished in fine interior trims with excellent soundproofing, passengers can enjoy a quiet and comfortable flight. With wide sliding doors on both sides and an electrically retractable step the aircraft has easy access and plenty of luggage capacity.”

SaxonAir has seen an increase in requests for its helicopter charter service since the service was introduced late last year.
