Rockwell Collins' ARINC LocalCheck local departure control system is being used by Falcon Aviation for the company's fleet of helicopters and corporate jets. Falcon provides private jet and helicopter charter, aircraft management, maintenance and support to customers throughout the Middle East from its base at Al Bateen Executive airport.

ARINC LocalCheck improves the operator's check-in and boarding efficiency by automating passenger handling and the production of barcoding bag tags for identification and passenger reconciliation.

“Our airport solutions are used throughout the world to help improve efficiency and enhance operations,” says Rockwell Collins head of airport systems sales Paul Hickox. “This win is an excellent example of how we can tailor our solutions to meet the requirements of large international airports and smaller regional airports and private business terminals.”

Falcon Aviation itself has launched an FBO at Al Maktoum International airport, Dubai South. “We intend to provide our customers with the highest level of luxury and discretion, within our private VIP lounges, cigar lounge, meeting room, prayer rooms and dedicated crew facility,” says COO Raman Oberoi.
