Why visit ACE ’25?
Atlas Air Service of Bremen, Germany has taken delivery of a factory-new Legacy 450. The aircraft's arrival was celebrated with a water cannon salute by two fire engines at Bremen airport. Atlas will be the first German operator to fly the L450 for charter, and the aircraft will join the company's eight-strong managed fleet.
“The aircraft owner and our charter clients will be able to enjoy the most modern aircraft of its class, boasting unrivalled comfort,” comments CEO Nicolas von Mende. “The onboard experience is fantastic, with the very latest entertainment systems and a spacious cabin with wide seats that can be converted to form flat beds for night flights.”
The jet can accommodate up to nine passengers, has fly-by-wire control with side-stick and the latest Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics suite with four HD LCD screens.
Says Atlas sales director Hans Doll: “We are absolutely convinced that the Legacy 450 is the perfect aircraft for our clients. Passengers who have already had the pleasure to fly with this new generation of business jets are thrilled by the quality and interior finishing in the ultra-quiet cabin. This is an important milestone for us and it increases Embraer's market share in German-speaking countries.”
