Diamond unveils DA62 in France
The seven-seat DA62 twin Diamond aircraft has made its French debut at France Air Expo after its formal launch in April at AERO Friedrichshafen.

The seven-seat DA62 twin Diamond aircraft has made its French debut at France Air Expo after its formal launch in April at AERO Friedrichshafen.

Diamond's DA62 is a low-wing, twin-engine, carbon structure, with diesel cycle engines run by the FADEC. Its payload is in the region of 680 kg and it can fly with a payload of 400 kg within a seven-hour battery lifespan, plus IFR reserves at an average speed of about 175 kts, consuming an average of 46 litres of Jet A1 per hour.

The DA62 offers a spacious cabin and is equipped with Garmin G1000 avionics. In less than a month Diamond Aircraft has registered firm orders for 15 aircraft.
