SGS to deploy B429 for mineral exploration
Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) has signed a purchase agreement for a Bell 429 outfitted to perform utility roles in the Middle East.

Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) has signed a purchase agreement for a Bell 429 outfitted to perform utility roles in the Middle East. The company will use the aircraft to support geological mapping, mineral exploration and other sustainable management activities. President Zohair A. Nawab says that his company required an aircraft that could withstand extreme environments: “Using the Bell 429's performance capabilities in high and hot conditions, coupled with exceptional vibration control and stability, we can acquire more accurate geological data that can help provide a better quality of life to our nation.”
