JoinJet of Denmark has taken delivery of an additional EMS Hawker 800XP with API winglets. The Hawker 800XP2 is said to be a versatile medical aircraft with good field performance, range and cabin space. JoinJet's cabin layout makes it possible to transport up to three patients – two intensive care plus one non-intensive care – as well as four medical crew or relatives.

“This fleet addition has come as a natural step, after increased demand on the ad hoc ambulance flight market; we have also signed a long term agreement with a medical flight provider on the first aircraft,” comments general manager Kristoffer Sundberg.

“This aircraft is newly refurbished with a modern medical interior and the very latest equipment. It is the ultimate ambulance of the sky.”

The company has also added two BeechJet 400s in recent months; its fleet now totals nine aircraft. Along with three Hawkers and two BeechJets are three Dornier 328s and a Piaggio P180. Sundberg believes the BeechJets are complementary to this line up. “With our price focus on the BeechJets, we are sure that they will be very attractive on the charter market,” he says.
