Flight Pro International celebrates five year anniversary
The company’s Houston team, predominantly made up of aviation industry veterans, marked the anniversary as it prepares for NBAA-BACE 2025.

Flight Pro International (FPI) has celebrated five years since its formation, though its heritage dates back nearly 50 years to Air Routing International (ARI). ARI was known for its white-glove trip management services in the late 1970s before becoming part of Rockwell Collins in the early 2000s and re-emerging independently as FPI in 2020.

Most of the FPI team today is drawn from ARI’s evolution into FPI. The company combines aviation veterans and U.S. veterans, building long-term relationships with service partners worldwide and gaining strong customer satisfaction.

FPI’s departments are cross-trained and work closely together, allowing efficient collaboration across trip planning, meteorology, compliance, vendor relations, fuel, travel and accounting. Its in-house meteorologists oversee flight plans, flight watch and ground handling, while the compliance team manages shifting global regulations.

The company’s FlightProConnect platform gives pilots and schedulers tools such as Trip Planner, messaging and offline capability.

“Whether travelling popular routes or unusual destinations, we aim to alleviate the pain points our clients experienced before bringing FPI on as a dedicated extension of their flight departments,” says Matt Pahl, president and COO.

FPI will be present at booth 2020 during NBAA-BACE 2025 in Las Vegas from 14-16 October. Its Houston headquarters provides support 24/7, every day of the year.
