CHARTER SALES MANAGER USA - DAYTONA BEACH, FL Hunt & Palmer

Providing exceptional standards means employing and retaining exceptional people, something else at which excel and right now we are looking for an exceptional and highly experienced Charter Sales Manager to take up appointment with our US charter division.

This exciting and challenging opportunity will see you working with a broad spectrum of blue chip clients, both individual and corporate, arranging the exclusive hire of private jets and other air systems on their behalf throughout the world. Many of our clients are household names and high profile individuals while others prefer their privacy and rely on the assured discretion of the Hunt & Palmer teams to protect that when they travel.

For your application to be successful, you will need not less than 5 years front line charter sales or account management experience with another charter company and/or executive jet operator and be able to demonstrate consistent above target earnings, sound commercial acumen and an in-depth operational knowledge. This is very much a client-facing role and we expect that you will have excellent inter-personal and communication skills at every level along with patience, understanding and strong negotiating abilities.

In addition to the above, good standards of numeracy, written and spoken English, IT literacy and an excellent attention to detail are key attributes for the role while regular out of hours’ duty together with travel throughout the US and other regions are requisite functions of the position.

This post is full time and based primarily out of our Daytona Beach office although we will consider alternative working proposals with the right candidate.

Working from the group’s head office in Crawley, West Sussex, successful applicants must have not less than three years previous experience in a similar role and demonstrate the ability to build long term beneficial relationships with both clients and suppliers.

In addition to the above, good standards of numeracy, written and spoken English, IT literacy and an excellent attention to detail are key attributes for the role while regular out of hours’ duty together with UK and overseas travel are requisite functions of the position.
