Freestream delighted to take on dynamic D'Angelo
Mauro D'Angelo has spent the greater part of his career at the intersection of national security and international affairs. As a seasoned senior federal officer, he established and managed intelligence relationships.

International corporate aircraft brokerage Freestream Aircraft has appointed Mauro D’Angelo as a member of its aircraft sales team. He brings more than two decades of distinguished service in the US intelligence community, combined with deep civil aviation experience, making him an exceptional addition to Freestream’s world-class sales team.

D'Angelo has spent the greater part of his career at the intersection of national security and international affairs. As a seasoned senior federal officer, he established and managed relationships across the intelligence community, the US Government, the private sector and academia, deploying unique talents, rigorous training and foreign language skills to advance objectives and deliver outcomes.

Prior to the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001, he served as an executive and commercial aircraft trader based in the Washington DC area, before relocating to Europe and playing a pivotal role in establishing what would become Italy’s largest private airline, Air One. Recruited to federal service during the post-9/11 intelligence surge, he has continued to serve the United States with distinction since that time.

“I have known Mauro since my early days in the industry. His integrity, depth of knowledge across both civil aviation and international affairs, and his singular ability to build trust across cultures and institutions are qualities that are simply rare. We are proud and genuinely excited to welcome him to the Freestream family,” says Alireza Ittihadieh, president and CEO, Freestream Aircraft.

D'Angelo's appointment further strengthens Freestream’s capacity to serve its discerning global clientele, including private individuals, multinational corporations, royalty and head-of-state principals, with the discretion, expertise and white-glove service the firm is renowned for. His background in international relationship management and his extensive network across government, private sector and aviation align naturally with Freestream’s mission to deliver seamless, transparent and high-value aircraft sales and acquisitions worldwide.
