Embraer will participate in the 48th Farnborough International Airshow, July 9-15, at Farnborough Airport (FAB), UK, promoting its entire range of products for the commercial aviation, executive aviation and defense and security markets. For this edition, the company will showcase four aircraft on static display: the Embraer 190 and the ERJ 145 jets for commercial aviation; the midsize Legacy 500 mock-up; and the large Legacy 650 for executive aviation.
Embraer will be located at Chalet A17/18. Embraer Defense & Security will hold a press conference at the Media Center, on Tuesday, July 10, in the CODY room, Hall 1, at 1:45 p.m., hosted by Luiz Carlos Aguiar, President and CEO.
Embraer Executive Jets will showcase its 2012 edition of the Legacy 650, which makes its debut at Farnborough. The large, three-cabin jet includes new and improved cabin sound proofing insulation, together with an upgraded interior with many new features. The 2012 Legacy 650, with a transatlantic range of 3,950 miles and certified for operations at London City Airport, also features the Honeywell Ovation® SelectTM, all digital, cabin management system. Also making its Farnborough debut will be the Legacy 500 mock-up, available for tours at Embraer's nearby Farnborough office. The Legacy 500 will be the first mid-size business jet on the market with a stand-up cabin and flat floor.
