Gulfstream to showcase three aircraft at MEBA in Dubai

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. will display three of its business jets at MEBA 2010, the Middle East business-aviation air show being held Dec. 7-9 in Dubai. The show will feature the large-cabin, mid-range Gulfstream G200; the large-cabin, long-range G450; and the large-cabin, ultra-long-range G550.

The aircraft will be available for viewing at the Airport Expo Dubai, which is adjacent to Dubai International Airport. In addition to the aircraft on static display, Gulfstream will have a small chalet (A9) where it can host customers.

"Gulfstream has more than 100 airplanes in the Middle East, a number that has more than doubled in the last decade," said Larry Flynn, senior vice president, Marketing and Sales, Gulfstream. "Part of that growth is attributable to the efforts we extend during MEBA. As our worldwide fleet grows, MEBA represents an ideal opportunity for us to communicate our aircraft's tremendous capabilities, their industry-leading dispatch reliability rates, their outstanding availability and the broad range of missions they can perform."

The company will be well-represented at the three-day show, with appearances by Flynn, Tarek Ragheb, regional senior vice president, International Sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa; Ruedi Kraft, regional vice president, Sales, Middle East; Pete Buresh, regional vice president, Sales, Africa; Rebecca Johnson, regional vice president, Sales, Central South Europe; and Alex Kolar, regional vice president, International Government Sales.

The company will conduct a regional Operators' Forum on Wednesday, Dec. 8, to provide updates and technical presentations on maintenance and operational subjects relevant to Gulfstream operators in the Middle East.
