Northern Helicopter secures multi-year contract to polar regions

Northern Helicopter is preparing to operate three BK 117C1s for demanding Arctic and Antarctic flights. The helicopters will support the Polarstern research vessel Polarstern over the next three years.

DRF puts retrofitted five-blade H145 into service

DRF Luftrettung plans to convert all of its H145 helicopters from four to five rotor blades in the next three years. The work required for this will in future be carried out from an ops centre at Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden.

Five blades are the way forward for DRF H145 fleet

An order from DRF Luftrettung to Airbus Helicopters is for a total of five H145 helicopters with a five-bladed rotor, which technicians at DRF Luftrettung in Rheinmünster will equip during this year.
