Lygg has signed up for 200 Ampaire aircraft conversion kits. The roll-out will begin by upgrading the engines of its 12-seat Cessna Grand Caravan, subsequently expanding to larger aircraft up to 70 seats in size.

The facility will not only be the heart of Ampaire’s operations but also a hub for innovation where it will continue to develop and deploy cutting-edge electric aircraft technologies.

The Long Beach headquarters will house an electrical engineering lab and mechanical fab shop for its Caravan, USAF, DoE and NASA programmes.
