The AW169 will be able to fly farther, faster and carry more gear than EHAAT's current MD902s. It offers more space for crew and patient and allows medical personnel on board to provide essential patient care.

A new purpose-built EHAAT airbase was completed in February 2021 and replaces a facility nearby. It includes dedicated areas for training, which will benefit EHAAT's crews and the local pre-hospital care community.

One of the first beneficiaries of EHAAT's trailblazing work is its new airbase at North Weald, which will become operational this summer. The building was designed with environmental considerations as a priority.
