Garmin is furthering its mission to assist pilots who are having to negotiate challenging airfields. Twelve new approaches and eight new airports have been added in southern states, where extra care is called for.

An update adds new airports and procedures designed to help pilots fly stabilised visual approaches at complex airports and at night.
