The collaboration assessed how Regent’s all-electric Seaglider vessels could improve transport across Scotland’s coastal communities by cutting emissions and journey times.

The Viceroy can carry up to 12 passengers or 1,600 kgs of cargo and is capable of speeds up to 300 kilometres per hour (180mph) for routes up to 300 km. It is expected to be a great fit for UAE missions.

With this expanded fleet, UrbanLink will be able to offer high-frequency service across the most heavily trafficked short-haul routes in the US. Seagliders in Miami could serve up to 4.3 million passengers annually.
