Geneva's Swift Copters, which maintains its fleet at an optimum size of between eight and ten helicopters, has upgraded the fleet with the recent additions of an EC135 and a single turbine Squirrel.

Jean-Marc Regis, director, says that Swift, launched with three helicopters in 1996, is enjoying brisk business in its core charter region of Switzerland and France. The current fleet stands at ten helicopters and includes the Dauphin AS365 N1 and the Colibri EC120B.

"The client base is mainly businessmen: there is not much demand for leisure," he says.
