NetJets pledges carbon neutral ops by 2012
NetJets Europe is expanding its fractional fleet but simultaneously implementing a programme designed to reduce its operational impact on the climate.

NetJets Europe is expanding its fractional fleet but simultaneously implementing a programme designed to reduce its operational impact on the climate.

Mark Booth, chairman and ceo, confirms that NetJets has signed an order for another nine Falcon 7Xs. Deliveries start in the second quarter of 2008 and the new order will take the 7X fleet to 33.

But Booth stressed that NetJets Europe is implementing a comprehensive new programme to address climate change. "The NetJets Europe Climate Initiative will ensure that the carbon emissions from all the company's activities will be fully neutralised by 2012," he pledges.

The company decided to work with EcoSecurities based in Oxford, UK.
