ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
PlaneChartering has opened a new base at Biggin Hill airport with offices overlooking the airfield, and with client reception and meeting facilities.
"We are continuing our U.K. and Cannes Mandelieu expansion plans," says operations manager Mike Connor. PlaneChartering was launched by entrepreneur Paul Crowther. He says clients of
sister company, Yachtbrokers International of Antibes, regularly use PlaneChartering to fly direct to the yachts. "With the cost of some charter yachts running at over O400,000 a week, this can make a vast cost saving difference."
Yachtbrokers International is forecasting a record season in the SuperYacht charter market with huge demand coming from the Russian and Arab sectors. Crowther says: "The
two business models go hand in hand, so owners looking for charter at sea or in the air can now come to a 'one -stop-shop'. We believe there is a great deal of synergy and this will increase business."
