RusAero, a Russian handling agent, reports that it has been officially authorised by Russian Civil Aviation Authority for obtaining landing and overflying authorisations. A spokesperson promises: "In case of urgent flights, we'll ensure that you'll be granted a Russian permit number within two hours of your application being received."

RusAero, the Russian Center for Civil Aviation Services, was founded in 1994, in Moscow as flight dispatch centre for Russian operators making international flights.

Its 24-7 FBO style facilities and services include ramp activities, visa, customs and immigration support, fuel arrangements and vip lounge and limousine services.

European and Middle Eastern charter operators are targeting the growing Russian private corporate and charter markets. This is increasing demand for FBO and support services.
