Russian business aircraft operator Aeroflot Plus plans to keep adding to its fleet after taking scheduled delivery of a leased Learjet 60 and Challenger 604 in mid-2007.

General director Arcady Stepanov told EBAN: "The business aviation market is expanding at 35 per cent every year. We expect to order further aircraft."

Aeroflot Plus, operating as a separate business under the Aeroflot group umbrella, plans to replace its three vip-configured Tupolev Tu-134 twinjets with more modern aircraft.

"The demand is for vip flights to destinations throughout Asia, the Middle East and Europe," says Stepanov.

Aeroflot Plus plans to develop an FBO at Sheremetyevo airport and to gradually recruit experienced staff including pilots and engineers.
