Avantair, provider of fractional aircraft shares in the Piaggio Avanti, has signed up to the Jet Support Services (JSSI) Tip-to-Tail airframe maintenance cost guarantee programme to cover its Avanti P180 aircraft fleet. John Haskins, JSSI president, said: "A great deal of research and analysis of true operating costs is needed to calculate an hourly airframe usage fee. "We cover the entire airframe including the cockpits' avionics suite, life limited components and even labour costs so the customer can have a stable maintenance budget without any surprises." The programme covers more than 40 different aircraft models.
