Skyline Aviation of the Netherlands is seeking additional pilots to fly a re-equipped Super King Air 200 that it is bringing into charter service. The aircraft was bought from Tulip Air.

Alexander Van Hoevell, president of Skyline Aviation, said: "We got the King Air 200 at a reasonable price, provided it with two new engines and updated avionics, and readied it for service. We did not have to do anything to the interior. In fact we kept the same colour scheme."

Skyline works to the Dutch Military and NATO operating specially equipped aircraft for radar calibration, electronic warfare and it tows targets for gunnery firing exercises.

Its charter operations started in 1990 with one Mitsubishi turboprop. Van Hoevell said: "We have been chartering a Chieftain for two years but the King Air has far more potential."

He added: "We are seeking pilots that are acceptable to our CAA."
