The Piaggio Aero P180 II aircraft delivered to Swiss operator Fly Wings in December will be covered by JSSI's Tip-to-Tail hourly maintenance cost guarantee programme, Jet Support Services has announced.

Piaggio Aero and JSSI collaborated on a joint marketing agreement in 2005 to offer new Avanti I and II buyers preferred enrolment options for their engines and airframe.

Benefits of the programme include elimination of financial risk for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events, continued control over maintenance operation and expenses, as well as reimbursement for in-house maintenance labour and parts expenses.

Jet Support Services has also appointed Kenneth K Posner to the position of operations manager and controller. Posner's career history includes chief financial officer for Dalfort Corporation and president and ceo of Chart House Enterprises.

"Ken brings significant experience to JSSI, as well as industry awareness from his former role at Dalfort Corporation," said John Haskins, president and ceo of JSSI.
