Gulfstream has announced the option to retrofit some of its aircraft models with its ultra-high-speed broadband multilink (BBML) data system.

The GIV, GIV-SP, G400 and G300 business jet models are all eligible for the retrofit, the company stated. The data system will enable passengers to surf the internet, send and receive email and perform any other web-based task in-flight at the same speed as in most corporate offices.

Said senior vp Pres Henne: "The BBML system is an essential option for customers whose cabins are used as airborne offices."
