Raytheon has certified its new Beechcraft Premier IA, just five months after its unveiling at EBACE in Geneva. Customer deliveries began in September.

The largest and fastest single-pilot corporate jet, the Premier IA features a more streamlined and luxurious interior than its predecessor, modelled after the Hawker 800XP cabin. The interior also offers more options for new owners, such as improved temperature control, table storage with 110 VAC outlets

and provisioning for the optional Satcom phone.

Up front, the flight deck incorporates a Rockwell Collins ProLine 21 avionics upgrade which offers Premier IA pilots a wide range of safety and situational enhancing information, to include map overlays as standard features. The Premier IA also comes standard with a five year warranty.

"The new Beechcraft Premier IA is a perfect example of the evolution of a revolutionary aircraft," said president and general manager of Beechcraft, Randy Groom, who attributes many of the changes to customer feedback.
