Moove bookings powered by ‘crew currency’
Moove's Crew Currency Management System allows operators to create and apply custom crew currency rules directly within their scheduling and trip request workflows. AI assistant Ask Moove is behind it.
The system helps operators assess whether the right crew can be assigned to the right flight at the right time.

Moove, a French aviation technology company specialising in booking and scheduling infrastructure for business aviation, has introduced its Crew Currency Management System, integrated into its Instant Booking Engine, alongside Ask Moove, an AI-powered conversational assistant for aviation operations.

Designed for corporate flight departments and charter operators, the new capabilities address one of the industry's most persistent challenges: translating complex operational requirements into reliable flight availability and booking decisions.

While traditional booking tools primarily assess aircraft availability, confirming whether a flight can be operated requires additional checks, including crew recent flight experience, training requirements and duty-time limitations.

By incorporating crew currency checks directly into its scheduling and booking technology, Moove helps operators assess operational conditions before confirming a flight through their customer-facing booking experience.

“Moove's dual-purpose technology platform is engineered to bridge the gap between operators and end-customers. Advanced operational logic, combined with AI, is helping accelerate this shift in business aviation,” says Arthur Ingles, Co-founder and CEO, Moove.

Moove's Crew Currency Management System allows operators to create and apply custom crew currency rules directly within their scheduling and trip request workflows.

The system is designed to support complex regulatory logic that goes beyond simple certificate or training-expiration tracking. For example, FAA night with turbine alternate under 14 CFR §61.57(e)(4) may involve several conditions, time windows and alternative qualification pathways depending on the pilot, aircraft and operation.

With Moove, these rules can be structured into the booking and assignment process, helping operators assess whether the right crew can be assigned to the right flight at the right time.

“Being able to instantly assess crew currency and create custom rules connected to our trip request workflow makes aircraft scheduling much faster and more reliable. Leveraging the integrated crew planning spreadsheet against the available crew assignments section, provides unmatched scheduling power for our administrative team,” comments Jeffrey King, assistant chief pilot, Clayton Aviation, the corporate flight department of Clayton Homes, based in Alcoa, Tennessee.

Alongside its crew currency capabilities, Moove is expanding its AI offering with Ask Moove, a conversational assistant designed to help business aviation operators make faster, more informed decisions.

Ask Moove helps teams save time by allowing them to ask plain-language questions across Moove's operational data, including reporting, scheduling information, passenger records and crew data. It is designed to work alongside the Crew Currency Management System, helping teams quickly access the information they need and support forward-looking crew assignment decisions.

“Aviation and AI are both frontier technologies,” concludes Antoine Awaida, CTO, Moove. “The Moove technical team has been working hand in hand with chief pilots to ensure our use cases are supported by accurate decision proposals through our new conversational assistant.”
