Reichmuth Infrastructure, a pan-European infrastructure asset manager, has acquired a majority stake in Lobo Leasing Ltd on behalf of its mobility fund and mandate clients, completing another investment in the aviation sector.
The two companies are joining forces to further expand Lobo Leasing's position as a mission-critical aircraft leasing platform, backed by secured funding for aircraft leases to operators across OECD countries.
The partnership combines Lobo Leasing's operational and technical expertise with Reichmuth Infrastructure's capital strength, industry network and investment capabilities. Clients will benefit from increased financial capacity, greater flexibility in transaction structuring, faster execution and a broader network of industry relationships. The enlarged management team and capital base will allow continued fleet growth and larger, more complex transactions while preserving Lobo Leasing's independence and customer-focused approach.
Filippo Rima, CIO of Reichmuth Infrastructure, says: “We have worked closely with Lobo Leasing for many years and have been consistently impressed by its team and execution capabilities. This partnership is a natural next step.”
Dan Roberts, CEO of Lobo Leasing, says: “This transaction gives Lobo Leasing the backing of Reichmuth Infrastructure's highly experienced team and enables us to invest directly with our own balance sheet.”
Lobo Leasing was established in 2013 as a dedicated helicopter lessor headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. The company manages over 80 mission-critical aircraft across more than 15 jurisdictions, serving essential sectors such as firefighting, emergency medical services and natural resource operations.
For investors, Lobo Leasing offers an experienced asset management team capable of managing all stages of an aircraft lease investment. For aircraft operators, it delivers competitive lease pricing, fast and efficient transactions and a flexible, practical approach based on the realities of the aviation industry.
