Flight Pro International (FPI) has added further upgrades to its Flight Pro Connect (FPC) cloud-based trip management software, expanding its Trip Planner and adding a Trip Notifications feature for flight crews, schedulers, dispatchers and operations teams.

FPC’s Trip Planner provides access to trip planning research data, including more than 25,000 searchable airports, over 190 supported countries and thousands of continuously updated airport records, with continuous monitoring by FPI’s Special Services Network of in-country service partners.

From desktop or mobile devices, users can access airport intelligence including operating hours, restrictions, advisories and alternate airports; regulatory information covering CIQ, Airport of Entry requirements and landing permits; operational resources including FBO profiles, ground handlers, facility views and flight operational documents; as well as airport weather and NOTAMs. Searches can be conducted using ICAO, IATA, airport name, city or country.

In 2026, FPI upgraded the Trip Planner with expanded facility views, including arrival photos, interactive facility maps and intelligence from FPI’s preferred handlers, who continuously validate local information.

The recently added Trip Notifications feature keeps flight crews, schedulers, dispatchers and operations teams informed of events throughout each stage of a trip. Preferences and settings can be tailored to individual roles, from schedulers requiring detailed operational updates to executives who only need high-level trip status visibility.

The feature monitors airport and regulatory services, landing and overflight permits, slots, PPR, ground handling, parking, fuel requests and releases, hotels, transportation, catering, flight planning, flight briefs, weather updates and itinerary changes. As services are confirmed or operational changes occur, notifications are delivered to relevant personnel and can be personalised by delivery method, including email and text, as well as scope, timing, frequency, information category and administrative permissions.
