NBAA-BACE has added four new courses to its 2026 Professional Development Programme, taking the PDP lineup to five titles, with sessions running from 18 to 24 October ahead of the Las Vegas event.

The headline addition is the first operator-led iteration of Maintaining In-House Flight Department Excellence and Control, running 23-24 October. The course walks attendees through benchmarking their flight department against current industry practice, analysing organisational risk factors and translating operational realities into value propositions for senior leadership.

The remaining courses run in the days before the show itself. Dr Shari Frisinger leads Elevating Your Leadership, Versatility and Influence over two days from 18-19 October, focused on leadership tools and safety culture. On the same dates, Walter Kraujalis, president of AeronomX, runs Management Fundamentals for Flight Departments Workshop, covering sale operations, regulatory compliance, budgeting, vendor selection and personnel issues. On 19 October, Kristopher Cannon, founder and president of Aviation Secure, Inc. and an NBAA Security Council member, leads Aviation Security and Awareness Training, and Mark Bingamon facilitates Human Factors in Business Aviation, aimed at identifying and mitigating risk before it escalates into an incident.

Molly Hitch, NBAA director of educational development and engagement, says: “We have four new courses at NBAA-BACE this year, including the first operator-led iteration of ‘Maintaining In-House Flight Department Excellence and Control’ specifically for flight department personnel.”

Registration for each course includes NBAA-BACE admission. NBAA-BACE itself runs 20-22 October in Las Vegas, Nevada.
