Yingling Aviation has added Jerome Cottner to its Wichita, Kansas-based team as director of sales.

Cottner brings more than two decades of aviation leadership to the full-service business and general aviation MRO, parts and FBO company. He began his career in the US Marine Corps, leading flight line avionics teams supporting CH-53D helicopters across two combat deployments. Following his military service, he held key executive leadership roles across the MRO sector, serving as president of Global Aviation Technologies in Wichita and president of Omni Aircraft Maintenance.

That combination of military discipline, hands-on avionics expertise and executive MRO experience gives him a practical understanding of what it takes to deliver on customer commitments. In his new role, he will focus on expanding customer partnerships and aligning maintenance, avionics and aircraft support solutions directly with the operational needs of aircraft owners and flight departments.
