AEG Leasing & Logistics opens with US-wide coverage
The venture has made more than 1,000 GSE and fuelling units available for lease or rental to operators, airports and ground handlers nationwide.

AEG Fuels has launched AEG Leasing & Logistics, a subsidiary providing equipment leasing and rental to aircraft operators, airports, fixed-base operators, ground handlers, cargo operators and government agencies.

The subsidiary is headquartered in Miami, Florida, with two service and distribution facilities and more than 1,000 GSE and fuelling units available across the US. Customers can lease or rent a single unit or multiple assets to support fleet expansion, seasonal demand, temporary requirements, planned projects or unplanned equipment needs. The available range spans ground support equipment including towbarless and conventional pushback tractors, belt and cargo loaders, ground power and air start units, baggage tractors and carts, passenger stairs, deicing equipment and maintenance lifts, as well as fuelling equipment such as aircraft and avgas refuellers, hydrant dispensers and fuel storage tanks. Specialised aviation vehicles and airport infrastructure equipment can also be sourced to meet specific operational requirements.

Chris Clementi, CEO of AEG Fuels, says: “Aviation operators need dependable equipment without always committing the capital and resources required for ownership. AEG Leasing & Logistics gives customers access to the equipment they need, when they need it, backed by AEG's aviation experience, supplier relationships and operational capabilities.”

Alongside leasing and rental, the subsidiary provides equipment sourcing, transportation, delivery coordination, staging, consolidation, fleet relocation and multi-location deployment support, with maintenance and service programmes available to keep equipment operational throughout a lease or rental period. The subsidiary builds on AEG Fuels' history in aviation since 1988, during which it has supported commercial airlines, government agencies, FBOs and other operators through a network of fuel suppliers and airport service providers.
