FCG Ops has appointed Ilaria Iacobini as business development manager, EMEA, as the company builds out its international trip support offering.
The company has for more than two decades operated as an outsourced OCC and ground handling services provider, with 26 years of operational aviation experience behind it. FCG Ops's operations team currently supports around 20,000 flight legs and obtains more than 5,000 permits annually, drawing on direct relationships with suppliers and aviation authorities alongside a ground handling network across Europe, Asia and Africa. That experience is now being positioned more formally as a standalone international trip support service for operators requiring complex international flight support.
Yuri Nadezhdin, director of business development, FCG Ops, says: “Every year, our operations team manages thousands of flights, permits and ground services around the world. Operators need a partner who understands the operational pressure and knows how to find a solution when plans change or challenges arise.”
The trip support model allows customers to use FCG Ops for selected operational services or as an extension of their own flight operations department, with a single point of contact coordinating each trip end to end. The service is underpinned by a 24/7 operations team trained in accordance with ICAO Doc 10106 competency-based training standards for flight dispatchers, alongside the operational control provisions of EASA GM1 ORO.GEN.110.
