Paramount puts safety first as it becomes ARGUS certified
Mike McCready, president of ARGUS International, says that Paramount has distinguished itself not only by meeting the programme's rigorous requirements, but also by embracing the audit process.
Mike McCready, president of ARGUS International, joins Richard Zaher, founder and CEO of Paramount Business Jets.

Paramount Business Jets, a US-based global private jet charter broker, has earned the ARGUS Certified Charter Broker designation following a comprehensive independent audit of its organisational structure, management and financial controls, operator vetting processes, emergency response plans and trip feasibility assessments.

The ARGUS Certified Charter Broker programme is designed to identify and promote leaders in the charter broker industry. Certification requires brokers to satisfy rigorous standards, address any findings identified during the audit and demonstrate practices aligned with high standards for quality, safety and service.

For more than two decades, Paramount has built its client experience around safety and personalised service. The company employs a dedicated in-house safety manager, provides clients with a safety report prior to every flight and evaluates flights using ARGUS safety standards as part of its vetting process.

Transparency is also central to Paramount's jet card programme. In 2010, Paramount pioneered a new standard of jet card pricing transparency by becoming the first company in the industry to introduce fully itemised broker fees, giving members greater visibility into the economics behind their private travel.

“Earning the ARGUS Certified Charter Broker designation is an important milestone because it independently validates the standards we have worked to uphold for years,” comments Richard Zaher, founder and CEO of Paramount Business Jets. “Safety is the foundation of every trip we arrange, exceptional service defines the client experience, and transparency is a principle we pioneered in our jet card membership. This certification reinforces those commitments and our responsibility to keep raising the bar.”

Mike McCready, president of ARGUS International, adds that Paramount has distinguished itself not only by meeting the programme's rigorous requirements, but also by embracing the audit process as an opportunity to strengthen its culture of safety, service and accountability. ARGUS also noted that Paramount's Certified Broker rating gives clients confidence that charter requests are managed to exacting standards.

“What stood out most through this process was the rigour and professionalism of the ARGUS team,” Zaher goes on. “Their standards are not just a checklist; they reflect a genuine commitment to raising the bar across the industry. The certification process gave us a structured way to further strengthen safety practices that were already part of our culture, and we are proud to have ARGUS as a partner in keeping our clients safe.”

Founded in 2005 and headquartered in the Washington, DC metro area, Paramount Business Jets is a US-based private jet charter broker serving clients worldwide, with staff based domestically and overseas. The company arranges on-demand charter flights across a network of more than 4,000 aircraft and 10,000 airports and offers its own jet card membership programme. The company has been named to the Inc. 5000 list four times and holds an A+ Better Business Bureau rating, a 4.9-star Trustpilot rating and a 5-star Google rating from close to 400 clients.
