2Excel provides King Air 200 for easyJet AOG cover
A Beechcraft King Air 200 will be kept on standby 365 days a year to move engineering personnel and components across easyJet's network.
Rapid deployment of engineers and components will also limit flight disruption.

2Excel is set to provide easyJet with a dedicated aircraft on ground (AOG) support service, using a Beechcraft King Air 200 kept on standby 365 days a year.

The aircraft will support easyJet's AOG team with what the operator describes as a “go now” capability, allowing rapid deployment of critical components and engineering personnel to reduce disruption to flight operations. The service will be underpinned by flight crews and operational teams prepared for immediate mobilisation.

George Offer, 2Excel's director of charter, says: “We are happy to be supporting easyJet with this critical AOG capability. Our teams specialise in rapid-response operations, and this agreement reflects the trust placed in 2Excel to deliver when speed and reliability matter most.”

Aidan Kearney, director of maintenance operations at easyJet, adds: “Having a dedicated, rapid-response aircraft helps us move critical engineering personnel and components quickly across our network, supporting our efforts to limit disruption and maintain the high levels of operational reliability our customers expect.”

The UK-based service builds on an earlier relationship between the two companies. Before the pandemic, 2Excel supported easyJet's AOG operations from Milan Malpensa, with this agreement re-establishing the capability from a UK base.
