LifeFlight has received national recognition for its aeromedical excellence, taking home the EMS (Emergency Medical Service) Business of the Year award at the prestigious Australian Aviation Awards in Sydney.

The award follows a milestone year for LifeFlight, with the Australian aeromedical organisation recently celebrating helping more than 100,000 people since its inception more than 46 years ago.

LifeFlight commercial chief operating officer Timothy McGuire, who accepted the award at the event, said the third consecutive win was a proud moment for the organisation: “To be recognised as EMS Business of the Year for a third consecutive time is an incredible achievement and a credit to every member of the LifeFlight team who contributes to our mission each day. This award reflects the skill, dedication and teamwork of our people, who continue to push the boundaries of aeromedical care and support communities across Australia. We remain committed to strengthening our capability and investing in the people, technology and resources needed to continue providing the highest standard of aeromedical care to communities whenever and wherever they need us.”
