Cabin safety takes centre stage at Bombardier summit
Bombardier's fourth Flight Attendant Safety Summit in Montreal will have an expanded two-day programme of workshops and presentations for flight attendants and aviation professionals.
This year, Bombardier added an extra half day to the agenda to include even more informative sessions and professional development opportunities.

Bombardier's Flight Attendant Safety Summit (FASS) is returning to Montreal for a fourth year, expanding to two days in 2026 with additional training, workshops, presentations and professional development opportunities.

Held on 5-6 August in collaboration with Bombardier's Safety Standdown event, the free seminar is open to flight attendants, managers, directors, CEOs, pilots and other aviation professionals, regardless of aircraft type.

Chris Milligan, vice president, pre-owned aircraft services and flight operations, Bombardier, says: “What started just a few years ago has now become a premier forum for flight attendants in the corporate aviation industry.

“This dynamic seminar brings together flight attendants, safety professionals and industry leaders who share a common goal: strengthening the standards, knowledge and collaboration that keep our passengers and crews safe. Throughout this summit, key experts will share ways to explore new perspectives on cabin safety and professional development.”

The additional half day expands a programme that includes presentations on International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) initiatives in cabin and passenger safety by Darlene MacLachlan, technical officer, human factors, ICAO; children on board by Georgi Hester, early years consultant at Norland; a Bombardier cabin safety masterclass by Lynnette McCoubrey, chief of cabin safety and training; and the safety role of flight attendants by senior aviation accident investigator Melanie Folcik Barillaro.
