Gulfstream has delivered the 400th aircraft from its G500 and G600 fleet to a customer in the Asia Pacific region. The milestone jet, a G600, was outfitted at Gulfstream's St Louis facility before handover.

Since entering service, the G500 and G600 fleet has accumulated more than 519,000 flight hours and over 200,000 landings. The programme has set more than 190 city-pair speed records, part of Gulfstream's overall total of 815. A G600 recently flew from Sapporo, Japan, to Savannah, Georgia, covering 5,835 nautical miles (10,806km) in 11 hours and 38 minutes at an average cruise speed of Mach 0.88, a route that underscores the type's reach into the Asia Pacific market now marking its 400th delivery.

Together, these aircraft have fuelled sustained demand for our next-generation fleet and play a pivotal role in Gulfstream's vision to offer an aircraft for every mission.”

The G500 and G600 share the Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck and a clean-sheet design with a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925. Cabin features include 100% fresh air, a plasma ionisation air purification system, class-leading cabin altitude and Gulfstream's panoramic oval windows.

Earlier this year both types received EASA certification for steep-approach landing, opening more airports to operators, including London City, and giving Asia Pacific customers greater routing flexibility on both ends of long-range missions.
