AERO 2027 in Friedrichshafen, Germany, next April is set to focus even more closely on business aviation, and will host the first staging of Air Charter Expo Regional – Europe.

Building on the success and popularity of the Air Charter Expo (ACE), which will continue to be organised by The Air Charter Association (ACA) and Business Air News annually at Biggin Hill, London, the additional regional event will take place at the heart of the Business Aviation Show Hub at AERO.

“Year on year, we have seen ACE at Biggin Hill take enormous leaps forward,” says organiser Brad Wright, “and this year is no different. Business aviation has always been built around relationships, and there is a clear appetite for in-person events that bring the industry together.

“Building on that growth, we are delighted to partner with our friends at AERO Friedrichshafen to launch the first ever ACE Regional – Europe. This exciting innovation will bring the familiarity, accessibility and ease of ACE into Hall A1 at AERO Friedrichshafen for the first time in 2027. This ‘show within a show’ concept will create a dedicated meeting point for the charter industry, in a perfect setting for aviation enthusiasts and business professionals alike, from Wednesday to Friday at this growing event.”

In 2026, for the second year running, AERO was Europe’s largest trade show for business aviation. Some 50 business jets and turboprops were showcased, with 400-plus international exhibitors participating from the sector, while the overall number of visitors swelled to 37,000. In addition to debuting aircraft and numerous new innovations, aircraft orders announced on-site totalled an estimated $500m. Platoon Aviation’s order for up to 16 Cessna Longitudes was concluded at AERO, pending legal formalities, which followed just weeks later.
