Mente strengthens technical team with Ungerleider
Drawing on more than 15 years in aviation, Zach Ungerleider brings maintenance, engineering and aftermarket expertise to Mente Group's technical services team.
Ungerleider has performed maintenance on 36 different aircraft models.

Mente Group has appointed aviation industry veteran Zach Ungerleider as director of technical services, reporting to chief revenue officer Steve Main.

Ungerleider brings more than 15 years of experience across aircraft maintenance, engineering and aftermarket sales, with expertise in technical operations, maintenance programme management and customer support.

“Zach's unique combination of technical expertise, maintenance leadership and aftermarket experience makes him an outstanding addition to our team,” says Steve Main, chief revenue officer at Mente Group. “He understands the operational and ownership challenges our clients face and brings the hands-on knowledge and industry relationships that will strengthen the value we deliver every day.”

An NBAA Top 40 Under 40 recipient, Ungerleider holds FAA Airframe & Powerplant and Private Pilot certificates, with instrument, high-performance and complex endorsements.

He has worked on 36 aircraft models and previously served as director of maintenance for multiple Cessna Citation fleets.

His background includes time within the maintenance engineering department at Textron Aviation, where he completed MSG-3 certification and Citation Sovereign+/Latitude maintenance training through FlightSafety International.

Ungerleider has also held aftermarket sales positions at Textron Aviation and Honeywell Aerospace. At Textron, he managed ProAdvantage programmes, maintenance support and modification projects. At Honeywell, he represented the MSP portfolio covering HTF7000, TFE731 and CFE738 engines.

He earned a degree in Aviation Business Administration and is currently completing an MBA at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
