Atlantic Aviation has opened an executive terminal and hangar complex at Napa County Airport in California, completing a development intended to support growing business aviation activity in the Napa Valley region.
The facility, celebrated at a grand opening event on 4 June, includes a 9,500 sq ft executive terminal, a 39,000 sq ft hangar and 3,100 sq ft of additional office and workshop space. Designed around a Wine Country aesthetic, the terminal aims to reflect the character of Napa Valley while providing expanded facilities for passengers and flight crews.
The development also includes a new fuel farm capable of storing 40,000 gallons of Jet A fuel and 10,000 gallons of 100LL aviation fuel, increasing the airport's capacity to serve aircraft operating in and out of the region.
Environmental measures incorporated into the project include recycled-content building materials, energy-efficient lighting, stormwater treatment systems, native planting, solar panels, water-saving plumbing fixtures and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
“This project represents far more than a new building; it is an investment in the overall experience of flying into Napa Valley,” says Jeff Foland, chief executive officer of Atlantic Aviation. “We designed this facility to deliver the exceptional service, comfort and operational reliability our customers expect while also creating an environment that reflects the quality and hospitality synonymous with this region. We are grateful for the strong partnership with Napa County Airport and the many teams who helped bring this vision to life.”
Atlantic worked with JRMA Architects & Engineers, Centrex Construction and American Environmental Aviation to deliver the project.
The opening ceremony brought together airport representatives, local officials, customers and community stakeholders, highlighting Atlantic Aviation's continuing investment in infrastructure at Napa County Airport.
