FCG Ops strengthens Africa ties through AfBAA
By joining AfBAA, FCG Ops becomes part of a professional network that brings together key stakeholders in African business aviation. The association provides industry dialogue, collaboration and market insight.

FCG Ops has joined the African Business Aviation Association (AfBAA), further strengthening the trip support company and handling network's long-term commitment to the African aviation market and reinforcing its regional expertise following the acquisition of Astra Aviation.

The move represents another important milestone in FCG Ops' strategic development across Africa. “It has been a year since we acquired Astra Aviation to strengthen our presence in Africa. As the integration process approaches completion, joining AfBAA is a natural next step in further developing our position and deepening our engagement within the region,” says Sergey Starkov, CEO of FCG Ops.

FCG Ops supports a wide range of flight operations globally, including business aviation, cargo, charter, medevac, and military and governmental flights. However, business aviation remains one of the company's core operational segments, making AfBAA membership a natural fit for strengthening industry cooperation and regional presence.

By joining AfBAA, FCG Ops becomes part of a professional network that brings together key stakeholders in African business aviation. The association provides an important platform for industry dialogue, operational collaboration and market insight exchange, enabling members to remain closely connected to the evolving needs of the region.

“As each new member joins, AfBAA strengthens. We actively encourage members to interact, share know-how and collaborate, and this exchange of shared knowledge and the associated rich repository of experience are among the many advantages members enjoy. We are delighted to welcome FCG Ops as it continues its evolution in Africa and look forward to its association participation,” says Dawit Lemma, chairperson, AfBAA.

Through this membership, FCG Ops reaffirms its commitment to delivering reliable operational support while effectively navigating the unique dynamics of the African aviation landscape. The company's participation in AfBAA will support closer alignment with regional requirements and contribute to the sustainable development of business aviation across Africa.
